Ambassador Tigran Balayan's meeting with Frank Wolter, head of the Luxembourg Nature and Forestry Agency

On the 9^th of September, Ambassador Tigran Balayan met with Frank Wolter, the head of the Luxembourg Nature and Forestry Agency. Through the presentation, the latter presented general information about the forest cover, flora and fauna diversity in Luxembourg, as well as the policies implemented by the agency aimed at nature conservation and sustainable forest management.

Ambassador Balayan presented to the interlocutor the works carried out in the field of the forests of Armenia and their preservation and suggested to establish cooperation in order to increase the capacities.

During the meeting an agreement was reached to carry out works on the implementation of experience exchange programs between the specialists of the forest agencies of the two countries, to assess each other's needs and provide possible technical support.
